This was definitely something. For the first Freida McFadden book I’ve read, or listened to, I really liked it!

Plot twists all over almost like the K-Dramas that I watch.

The story had me at the edge of my seat and my jaw on the floor (according to my coworkers)!!

I will say, the men in this book were CRINGE! They all practically made me super uncomfortable. It was great. I do feel bad for Sydney, the main character in this story, as she is only trying to find Mr. Right. Poor girl had the WORST dating experiences.

"Romance novels give you an extremely unrealistic concept of romance."

Now since this is a mystery/thriller, I won’t say much because I do not want to give anything away. But definitely give this a read for a jaw dropping reveal at the end!
