The Bakery Dragon

By Devin Elle Kurtz

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

First of all, this book is adorable. Yes, it is a children’s book and I read it happily.

This story follows a little dragon named Ember as he tries to be as great as his co-dragons in fearsomeness and gold gathering. As he tries to prove himself, he ends up in a bakery where the baker teaches him how to bake and make his own “gold” (which looks to be quite the delicious investment) Gold that not only smells and tastes delicious, but also a gold much better than the stolen gold of his peers. A precious gold that can be shared amongst him and the other dragons.

An important value taught in a wonderful and beautiful way, if I may say so.

How did I come across this book? I was seeing a lot of promos and ads on social media about this book and was sold immediately on the illustrations, the dragons, AND the bread. So I went to Barnes and Noble and purchased it.
